Meet the Founder
An Experienced, Reliable, and Genuinely Easy Partner to Work With
For more than 25 years I've worked behind the scenes helping organizations and businesses turn ideas into clear, well-executed results. My background spans creative development, research, PR, design, and print production. It's been quite the journey!
It started by landing a job with the producers who made Cocktail, Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure, Jumanji, Mr. Holland’s Opus among other memorable titles. I jumped into development work for Save the Last Dance, which debuted as a box office #1 with multiple MTV Movie and Teen Choice Awards.
Thanks to a recommendation from a colleague at Cort-Madden Productions, I became a personal assistant to Tony and BAFTA award winning actor Sir Nigel Hawthorne, which in turn landed a personal assistant role to his Tarzan co-star and Oscar nominated actress Minnie Driver during her first produced indie film Uncorked.
While in LA and thanks to an odd chain of events I became the official website producer for an Irish-Welsh indie band signed to a major UK record label. I enjoyed several surreal years within the British music industry working with A&R teams, music journalists, I also covered behind the scenes events at Reading Festival, an album launch party in Amsterdam, recording sessions, and tour diaries for the band’s website.
Other random opportunities include crew work for TV shows American Idol and Bill Nye Saves the World when they passed through Arkansas and design work for global brands Pepsico, Wrigley, and Disney Consumer Brands.
Most recently, I ran Wild Beaver Design & Production Studio in Bentonville, Arkansas where I partnered with some of Northwest Arkansas's most beloved organizations on everything from everyday marketing collateral to large scale production projects.
After many years of working at an ever-busy pace I made a deliberate choice to slow down.
Not to do less meaningful work but quite the opposite: I wanted to do it better and with more of a personal touch than leading a busy studio allowed.
Services tailored to fit the unique situation of every client
As a Print Concierge I take the time to understand how each client's team actually works: where the pinch points are, what might create delays, and where a little clarity can go a long way. Sometimes that's as simple as helping you understand which materials work best for a given project, or what realistic production timelines look like so nobody's left scrambling.
I can offer artwork template and guidelines to you or your art team to ensure the artwork is right the first time - no going back and forth with different printers and hoping your artwork meets the standard or will print OK for the chosen process.
An industry insider with ambition to save you time and money
I also bring exclusive pricing through my network of wholesale, trade-only print providers. Whether through negotiations with my vendors or simply knowing where the savings are, my goal is to help stretch the budget without sacrificing quality or sanity.
For projects that need something a little out of the ordinary, I have a specialty vendor network that covers everything from pool floaties to fabricated displays, promotional items, and corporate event tents.
So there you go, that’s all about me and what I think I bring to the table as a Print Concierge.
Should you be on the lookout for someone to help with print planning and/or production management for your marketing needs, an annual event, or anything in between, I'd love to connect and see if we'd be a good fit together. No pressure, no hard sale, just a conversation on what you’d like help with is how I handle a first meet.
Kindly,
Holly Henbest, Founder hen & holly LLC
